southeast asia
There's something to be said for backpacking through Southeast Asia in your early 20's. A traveler's rite of passage almost. These photos were taken in Vietnam and Thailand. I spent about a month exploring massive cities like HCMC and Bangkok to more peaceful spots like that of Lan Ha Bay in Northern Vietnam and Ko Pha Ngan, an island in Thailand's south. Looking at them makes me miss the sickly sweet taste of Vietnamese coffee and of Thai mango sticky rice. They make me think of the way my heart would drop every time we narrowly dodged an oncoming car on our motorbike or how it feels to hang out the back of a tuk-tuk, slightly drunk. The way you could feel rich on $5.
